Bug fixes and/or feature enhancements#

Firmware version: 18.99.6.p34 to 18.99.6.p40#

Component

Description

Zigbee

Zigbee Coordinator and Router are disconnected during BLE connection pairing and bonding with a mobile app for the first time.

Parent topic:Bug fixes and/or feature enhancements

Firmware version: 18.99.6.p40 to 18.99.6.p46#

Component

Description

Wi-Fi

Fails to establish a persistent connection when the device attempts to reinvoke the second stored Persistent Group

Bluetooth

NCP cannot work after flash uart bins for both host and device side

Parent topic:Bug fixes and/or feature enhancements

Firmware version: 18.99.6.p46 to 18.99.6.p47#

Component

Description

Wi-Fi

Enabled mbedtls 3.x

Parent topic:Bug fixes and/or feature enhancements

Firmware version: 18.99.6.p46 to 18.99.6.p47#

Component

Description

Wi-Fi

  • Enabled mbedtls 3.x
  • Host sleep with WoWLAN fails due to command response timeout (cmd 0x10d) during MCU sleep/wake transitions on WiFi NCP over UART, leading to system assert during sleep exit
  • Ping failures observed during concurrent network operations (fast ping from AP backend and DUT), with ICMP unreachable errors indicating routing/forwarding issues and performance degradation under specific network load conditions

Parent topic:Bug fixes and/or feature enhancements

Firmware version: 18.99.6.p50 to 18.99.8.p10#

Component

Description

Wi-Fi

  • Enabled mbedtls 3.x
  • Fail to set band to 2.4G in wifi_test_mode application

Parent topic:Bug fixes and/or feature enhancements

Firmware version: 18.99.8.p10 to 18.99.8.p68#

Component

Description

Wi-Fi

  • Fixed WPA3 SAE security failure observed in WiFi CLI app during initiating connection with AP.
  • Fixed TX power increase of ~3 dBm observed after connecting to a DFS channel and then reconnecting to a non-DFS channel. TX_POWER_LUT_EXTENSION_SUPPORT did not account for the one-channel DPD case, causing TX power to exceed the configured limit on subsequent non-DFS channel connections.

BLuetooth

  • Implementation of PaWR (Periodic Advertisement with response) feature

Coexistance

  • Fixed driver assert issue when wake up wifi cpu1
  • Wi-Fi throughput drops to 0 when Wi-Fi and OT traffic run concurrently on non-overlapping channels at an RSSI of -80 dBm.
  • Fixed high PING latency (up to ~1876 ms average ~397 ms) and packet loss observed with external FEM in Wi-Fi + Thread coexistence mode. RF control lines were switching excessively between Wi-Fi and Narrowband, disrupting Wi-Fi PSM operation and degrading throughput/latency.
