Overview#

This exapmle shows how to use VIRT WRAPPER driver to map the SIUL2 peripheral to a different virtual address.

In this example, SIUL2 is mapped to a virtual address, software controls the pin’s level and interrupt through this virtual address. The pin’s input and output are both enabled, so when toggle the output voltage level, this pin can detect level change interrupt.

Running the demo#

The log is shown in the terminal, if the demo runs to any issue, the log will show errors.

Supported Boards#

FRDM-MCXE31B
Hardware requirements
  • Type-C USB cable

  • FRDM-MCXE31B board

  • Personal Computer

Board settings

No special settings are required.

Prepare the Demo
  1. Connect a type-c USB cable between the host PC and the MCU-Link USB port (J13) on the target board.

  2. Open a serial terminal with the following settings:

    • 115200 baud rate

    • 8 data bits

    • No parity

    • One stop bit

    • No flow control

  3. Download the program to the target board.

  4. Either press the reset button on your board or launch the debugger in your IDE to begin running the demo.
